Weekend get away: Carolina on my mind

A few weeks ago I went to visit my sister, Betsy, and her family in Asheville, North Carolina. It was the perfect weekend get away! The Autumn colors were at their peek and the weather couldn't not have been better. We hiked, carved pumpkins, went out for dinner and drinks in Asheville, and played with twins. While we were out and about in downtown we stopped by a  cozy dessert/coffee shop called
I could not say enough good things about this charming spot.  From the cakes in the display case, to the carefully decorated truffles, it was all amazing! The drink options were impressive as well. Any place to grace a coffee drink with the name "The Jitterbug" has got something good going on. They had so many delectable treats on display it was difficult to just pick one. Here are a few pictures below. Enjoy!
