PURE in Inman Park: Birthday celebration+good food=great memories made

So this week I ventured down to PURE Taqueria in Inman Park, in downtown Atlanta for a friend's Birthday celebration. PURE is a fabulous mexican restaurant with an eclectic twist. The setting is in the heart of Inman Park and couldn't be more perfect for a warm summer day.

Inman Park is an old neighborhood with an "up and coming feel". Boasting some of Atlanta's best restaurants and romantic cafes, the hub of Inman Park is home to many artistians, musicians, and indie wearing folks alike. PURE is situated off the North Highland Avenue, across from Fritti and a short walk from P'Cheen, a new restaurant couldn't find itself in a better location.

The feel is welcoming and open, with vibrant colors of greens and blues that jump off the white stone walls in it's loft type setting. There is definitely no lack of character at this place! The menu was colorful with delicious options and I can't wait to go back to sample another one of their amazing entrees.

My choice for the night:Crab cake-tomatillo salad with Avocado-red vinaigrette.

Amazing! I have to say, my favorite crab cakes are served at The Red Bar in Santa Rosa Beach, FL. but these are a pretty close second. De-lish!

My other favorite entrees at the table was the evening special: Seared scallops atop white potatoes based with hot chili oil ...enough said! The scallops were buttery and full of flavor, definitely hoping they serve this again.

Perfectly made margaritas, paired with a fun group of people always makes for a fun night!

PURE, thanks for a fabulous evening!
